Since this is the first installment of the Saturday Sideshow, this is a good time to tell you a little more about me. I’m not just some guy who sits at his computer all day sifting through Baseball Prospectus.
I really like poker. I’m pretty good at it too. In fact, it’s kind of a miracle that I’ve been blogging for almost two whole weeks and haven’t yet mentioned this. You can read more about it here.

Got another new feature coming to the blog this weekend… The Saturday Sideshow.
Since no one reads blogs on weekends (blog is derived from blogus, which is Latin for “something you read when you are supposed to be working”), I’m going to do a little experimenting on Saturdays. Every Saturday morning I’ll put up a post of all sorts of random, but hopefully entertaining, stuff that has nothing to do with baseball.
