I posted earlier about the World Series of Poker, and how I wondered if it would be impacted further this year by the demise of online poker in the U.S.

I’ve come to learn that people in the U.S. are still playing poker with real money online. There may not be as many sites as there used to be, but there are still some.

Personally I prefer to play live poker, although I can’t do that too much because it requires me to make the commitment of leaving the house for hours at a time. So I guess I ought to just hope for the return of full-scale online poker, like back in the glory days of 2006. In the meantime, at least there are options.
