I don't know about most fans, but I will take the view of the guys who had to face him and watch him perform up-close over a guy that watches baseball in the comfort of his home or a press box. We should strip the Baseball Writer's of America of their ability to vote for HOF'ers and leave it up to players/managers/coaches.
