I think MadBum will be ok long-term. This is not a situation like Spring 2010 where his arm strength wasn&#039;t there and his stuff looked terrible. He is is throwing in the low 90s and has movement. He&#039;ll be fine. So far, he has just missed spots and pitched into a little bad luck. 

Having said that, I think for him to take the &quot;next step&quot; to all-star type pitcher he needs to come up with another pitch for right-handed hitters.  Right now he is fastball, cutter/slider and that&#039;s it. It&#039;s all hard stuff and the league is adjusting.  

I welcome your thoughts.
