Travelogue, Day 12: Kinda bored

This morning was pretty boring. The workouts were not supposed to start until 3 and the Yankees weren’t working out at all. So I didn’t have much to do but sit in my room and watch football. I could have gone back to the beach to run, but I was too lazy. I did discover my hotel has a workout room and a laundry room. I’ll be using those soon.

Anyway, once I got to the park we had a little controversy because the Angels clubhouse was supposed to open at 3, but the Angels didn’t want to open it until 3:30, which was the same time Mike Scioscia was supposed to be up in the interview room. Eventually enough writers complained so they opened it.

I wanted to talk to Vladimir Guerrero, who doesn’t do interviews on English, so I had to wait till after the workout to get the interpreter. Thing is, I’m sure his English is fine, but he uses the intepreter thing as a buffer.

Well, that’s about all. Game 3 in Anaheim at 1 on Monday afternoon.

(By the way, I wrote this whole post on my iPhone while waiting for a poker table. My iPhone is awesome.)
