Who’s the best of the A’s Big Three?

Went to the A’s game today to get some stuff for an Angels feature. I got all I needed before the game, so I decided I’d leave as soon as each team got a hit.
I was still there in the seventh inning.
By the time Brett Anderson lost his perfect game, it was a 0-0 game in the seventh. I figured I’d stayed this long, might as well stay till the end to see how it turns out. And since I’d been there the whole game, figured I might as well write a story about it. So I wrote this piece on Brett Anderson’s improvement.
I think it’s very interesting how each of these young pitchers (Anderson, Trevor Cahill and Vin Mazzaro) have taken turns looking like the best of the trio. When the season is over, I’m going to do a survey of as many baseball people as I can find to get their opinions on which one is the best.
In the meantime, here’s a poll, and you can let me know what you think.

Of the three, I think that Mazzaro has the best stuff. Right now Anderson looks the most polished and the most comfortable on the mound. The one thing I don’t like about him is that his fastball is pretty flat. Mazzaro has far better movement. I also like his breaking stuff better. When he is throwing consistently he looks really good and difficult to hit. Cahill looks absolutely lost on the mound most of the time. He has the most work to do. He doesn’t seem to have a consistent, repeatable deliver yet and that is going to be a key to whether he becomes a big league pitcher or not.
I think all three have tremendous upside and that they unfortunately are having to take their knocks at the big league level rather than at Triple A.
“Which pitcher will have the best career?” Jeff, you should probably add “but not necessarily with Oakland”, since he or they will be traded for younger prospects by Beane.
