That is true Jay, what is Giambi saying about the rest of the guys? I think it is a little silly to fast track all 3 of the MAC's, let's not get carried away.

While I like the enthusiasm for the young guys this does make me a little concerned for the other guys in the rotation.

What does this say about Giambi's confidence in guys like Eveland, Galagher, Braden, Gonzalez, and Outman?

here's the difference though:

mulder MSU/zito USC/hudson auburn had experience in competitive college baseball. zito/mulder when drafted were known for their polish and possibly fast tracked route to the majors

hudson had around 20 mlb starts before his 1st full major league season
zito came up around midseason

in 2000, when the big 3 formed that staff had veterans in heredia/appier/olivares to eat up innings

i still think its risky for all 3, i see anderson as the most mlb ready

Wow.

Bum rush the league.

That's not something you want to do in Britain.

wow, Jason...all three?

The only way that makes sense is if all three are really better options than one of Eveland, Braden and Gallagher (I iimagine Gallagher would be the one).
