Rickey fans, you’ll like this

Just found this video on ESPN.com. It’s an interview Rickey Henderson did with Mike and Mike. It’s pretty entertaining, as he goes through the fact or fiction about some of those Rickey stories.

haha god i love that guy, he is the greatest lead hitter of all time and one of the greatest players ever.

Should be interesting to see what the A’s have Rickey doing this year in his “goodwill” capacity.
Suzuki just changed his jersey number so I assume we are going to have his jersey (24) retired this year.
I saw that he changed numbers, but I asked several people in the organization about this last month and everyone said there were no plans right now to retire Rickey’s number in 2009. They said normally they do that the year after a player is inducted into the HOF. We’ll see.
