He pitched significantly more innings last season than he had ever pitched in his career and the fatigue showed after the all star break. At the end of June he was 8-4, 3.73 ERA, 102 k's in 103 innings, and 10 quality starts. He began to decline after that start, although having only pitched 75 2/3 innings the year before that is somewhat understandable. I look for him to have a breakout year this season, and sustain it late in the season.... provided he stays away from the WBC that is. My hope is he stays away from the WBC.
